Pouzolles Village
Pouzolles is a charming and picturesque village set among the peace and tranquility of the Languedoc vineyards and yet only 25 minutes to the bustling glamour of Cap-d'Agde! The contrast could not be more striking.
The beautiful tree-lined drive from the nearby town of Roujan leads you to the foot of Pouzolles' towering chateau. Our apartments are set between the chateau and the picturesque town church. The village is immaculately maintained, the air is clean and traffic is almost nonexistent.
In the summer months the promenade is a festive gathering point for the whole village with weekly barbecues and regular fetes. For just 15 euros you can eat and drink as much as you like the whole night long! The area is surrounded by a plethora of vineyards with four 'caves' in the village alone in which you can sample the different varieties of wine. Explore the beautiful back streets of Pouzolles, with their hidden picture postcard views, relax with a refreshing drink in the village square or take a drive through the surrounding countryside and enjoy the majestic scenery. This village is perfect for really getting away from it all!
However, your stay in Pouzolles need not be confined to the peace and tranquility of the immediate area. Beautiful towns and cities, such as Montpelier, Beziers, Pezenas and Carcassonne are all just a short drive away, while the Mediterranean also beckons, with Cap-d'Agde, Sete and La Grande Motte all within easy reach.
