The Golden Crescent
This beautiful and unspoiled region of the South of France is perhaps the last undiscovered area of natural beauty and glamour that property speculators have yet to hit upon.
However, we use the word 'undiscovered' cautiously as demand for properties in this region is increasing dramatically, and it is easy to see why. Montpelier itself is a magnificent historical town with a splendid mix of old and new architecture. It is the home of the national football team and its port is full of exotic marinas with their attendant cafes, bars and restaurants.
Further along the coast is the port of Sete - the largest French port on the Mediterranean. Its network of bridges and waterways rightfully earns it the title of 'the Venice of the North'. A short drive further brings you to Cap-d'Agde - a glamorous fun-filled marina and home to the world's only nudist town!
All these attractions are set in the Languedoc region of Southern France - the world's largest wine-producing region! It is little wonder that property prices here are about to take-off!
